About JICSE

Welcome to the 1st Jakarta International Conference on Science and Education

Faculty of Teaching and Education, Universitas Kristen Indonesia is delighted to invite you to attend and present your papers in The Jakarta International Conference on Science and Education (JICSE), which will be held in Discovery Hotel Ancol, Jakarta from 16th to 17st October 2019 with the theme of Science, Social Science and Education for 4.0 Era. The research grant from both Indonesian Government and Foreign Countries is increasing, leads to the raising number of researchers in Indonesia, particularly in science, social science and education. However, each research was performed individually and was not integrated to one another. Therefore, it is difficult to achieve a ready product based on research findings that could be contributed to acceleration of the growth development in Indonesia. Integration between science fields will greatly contribute for this acceleration. In this case, a high quality scientific communication is definitely required. JICSE facilitates this communication in the form of international scientific conference. Hopefully, great communication between scientists from different fields as well as research collaboration between Indonesian and Foreign scientists can be established

The 1st JICSE, provides a forum for scientist fellows; educators, christian educators, mathematicians, chemists, physicists, biologists, from graduate students; master-degree and doctoral degree students, to share their research activities through oral and poster presentations, and to be involved in related research discussions to exchange ideas and develop the professional network. The objective of this symposium is to build an excellent networking among the researchers as well as collaborators from around the world. The progress and most updated of science, social science and teaching and education researches will be shared in this event. Additionally, this conference is to encourage researchers to submit their papers. New findings in scientific subjects may lead to innovations, which will be a contribution to society. Eventually, the researchers and society will be benefited from this occasion. Presenting two days of interactive discussions, presentations, question and answer as well as networking sessions, this conference gathers important topics from many guest speakers to share their views and research on science studies.
